Hello, I’m Kayah — a horticulturalist based in Melbourne working in garden maintenance, plant health, and ecological garden design.

I spend most of my days in soil, trying to understand what gardens are actually doing beneath the surface. Plants, weeds, insects, fungi, birds — it’s all one system, and suburban gardens are far more alive than most people realise.

I’m passionate about environmentally conscious practices, and creating a connection between home gardens and nature. One of my core beliefs is finding a balance in how the garden serves you, and the local ecology.

Kayah attended Melbourne Polytechnic 2024-25 and studied a certificate III in Horticulture after years of career hopping - from creative arts, to nursery work, now to owning her own business!

Her knowledge of horticulture and cultural planting compliments the creative aspect of gardening in order to create and maintain sustainable, healthy and beautiful gardens that work for your landscape and soil sphere.

There’s such a thing as a healthy obsession if its plants, right?
